DRT Transportation, LLC Honored as 2022 Penske Logistics Freight Management Carrier Awards Recipient

DRT Transportation, LLC was named an Intermodal Carrier Award winner during the 2022 Penske Logistics Freight Management Carrier Awards program. DRT Transportation, LLC was one of 24 recipients.

Category winners were selected from among Penske’s expansive base of trucking carriers operating within its freight management operations. There are several award qualifications: A Penske Logistics enterprise scorecard combined with customer, operations and sourcing feedback.

DRT Transportation Named Responsible Care® Partner by the American Chemistry Council

(Lebanon, Penn.) January 13, 2017 – Transportation company DRT was recently named a Responsible Care® Partner by the American Chemistry Council (ACC). DRT was one of only three companies to achieve partner status in 2016.

Enacted in Canada in 1984 and adopted in the United States in 1988, the Responsible Care program is a global initiative practiced by 57 national and regional associations in 65 economies. It is based on a set of guiding principles designed to improve environmental, health, safety and security performance for facilities, processes and products throughout the entire operating system. Companies also are committed to open and transparent reporting and submit annual data on their progress toward meeting performance measure goals. The ACC Responsible Care Partner Program was introduced in 1992 for companies that have involvement in the distribution, transportation, storage, use, treatment, disposal or sales and marketing of chemicals. Andersen Corporation names DRT Transportation Partner of the Year

(Lebanon, Penn.) October 10, 2016 – Window and door manufacturer Andersen Corporation named DRT Transportation of Lebanon its Partner of the Year during a recent logistics provider conference.

DRT Transportation ranked as fastest-growing private company in central PA

(Lebanon, Penn.) November 6, 2014 – DRT Transportation of North Cornwall Township has been ranked as the fastest growing private company in Central Pennsylvania in the 2014 Inc. 5000 rankings.

The annual Inc. magazine publication ranks the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country based on three-year revenue growth. DRT Transportation was the highest ranked of the 17 mid-state companies in the list this year. 

The logistics and transportation company has grown exponentially since its founding in 2007. DRT Transportation had a 330 percent revenue growth between 2010 and 2013, posting revenue last year of $24.9 million. The company has added 16 jobs in the past three years and now employs 25.

DRT Transportation breaks ground in Lebanon
